Demonstrate an understanding of decimals by using concrete, pictorial, and symbolic representations to create sets of equivalent fractions and compare fractions with like and unlike denominators.
What Did Students Do?
This week, students worked on comparing fractions using a variety of strategies including cross multiplication, division, and drawing rectangles.
They used dice and dominos to create and compare fractions and some of them had a chance to play Fraction Golf.

Can you give an example of two equivalent fractions?
